( A Guide ) for preparing stone-milled matcha

Below are step by step instructions on how to make the perfect cup of tea with our Stone-Milled Matcha.
Tools needed : Matcha whisk (chasen), matcha scoop or spoon, fine mesh strainer, tea bowl, matcha powder, filtered water.
Scoop 2 grams (1 teaspoon) matcha into a fine mesh strainer.
Sift the matcha through the strainer to make a uniform powder.
Add a splash of hot water (180F) into the tea bowl, enough to fully saturate the matcha.
Stir the matcha with chasen to form a paste.
Pour 2 ounces hot water into bowl.
Whisk delicately but vigorously in a W shape until tiny uniform bubbles appear. Then carefully lift the whisk to the surface and continue whisking to create a micro-foam.
Gently lift the whisk away so as not to disturb the fine creamy bubbles. Enjoy.
