Sandalwood Incense

The burning of incense in Japan began during the 6th century with the introduction of Buddhism. Since then, incense has been used reverently in ceremony and meditative practice, and to purify a space. These handmade Japanese incense sticks are made of 100% pure sandalwood and emit a pure, sweet and woody scent. The incense is handmade with raw and natural ingredients, no synthetic fragrances used. Each Paulownia wood box contains 20 sticks. Burn time: approximately 15 minutes per stick.
