There is nothing better than grilled corn on the cob in the summer, but this creamy corn soup is divine. I like it hot or chilled.
I have been making these vegetable dressings to keep in my fridge for grain bowls and to dress hearty salads. The zucchini dressing with dill and lime is perfect for summer. It's delicious on white fish as well.
I barely drink alcohol these days but love a good summer evening beverage. I discovered Woody's after a friend brought a bottle to a dinner party. Their NA white wine is gently fizzy and not too sweet.
We recently posted a recipe for puerh ice cream using our Earth Shou Puerh. I really love the earthy flavor of this tea paired with sweet cream. Inspired by these flavors, I've been making whipped cream to dollop on top of a concentrated brew of our puerh. It's so good, hot or iced!
I've been making iced tea with our Orange Flower Oolong, steeping it in the fridge overnight. I love the citrusy, floral flavors of this tea in the afternoon. A refreshing pick-me-up!
This album is new to me and has been on repeat for the past couple of weeks.
I just started listening to Ezra Klein's new book, Abundance after it was recommended by a few friends.
I just finished Anne Carson's, Autobiography of Red. Half poetry half prose, Carson re-invents an ancient Greek myth into a profound, modern love story.
I am looking forward to reading Ocean Vuong's new novel, The Emperor of Gladness, next.
I picked up this honey after tasting the most delicious white, creamy honey in Southern France. The consistency and subtle floral flavor is so good. My favorite is spread atop buttered toast.

While traveling through Southern France I read Sophie Strand's, The Madonna Secret, a retelling of the story of Jesus through the perspective of Mary Magdalene. Strand melts history in a cauldron and what transmutes is an alternate narrative rich with feminine sensuality and embodied wisdom. An epic love story and mind-altering tale that will leave you questioning everything you've ever been taught about these prophetic figures. Admittedly, I haven't finished the book because I don't want it to end.
The Accidental Garden, by Richard Mabey is next on my list.
I recently picked up a notebook of Papier d'Arménie and was reminded how much I love the delicate ritual of these fragrant papers.
Smoothies are a daily occurrence in my home at the moment. This one has been a favorite with my son and is packed with omegas and antioxidants.
I brought home a head of romaine lettuce from the farmer's market the other day and immediately knew its fate. Samin Nosrat's Caesar salad. Resist the urge to use a blender. Whisking the dressing is laborious, but worth it.
I typically drink black tea every morning but lately have been craving green. Our wild Japanese tea, Sleeping Dragon, is my absolute favorite.
I just traveled for a month with our Digestive Seed tea and concluded that it is essential to my wellbeing. I'll never leave home without it.
I don't want summer to end but I am looking forward to Cate le Bon's new album, Michelangelo Dying, set to be released September 26.
