Chai-Infused Simple Syrup
1/2C water 2 T Leaves and Flowers Assam Chai
Bring water to boil then turn down heat to low. Add Chai and steep for 5 minutes. Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Strain tea leaves through a fine sieve and let syrup cool completely.
Chai Whiskey Sour
2 oz Whiskey
1 oz Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice 1 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice 1 oz Chai-infused Simple Syrup 1 Egg White Rose Petals to garnish (optional)
Add egg white to a cocktail shaker (a 16oz mason jar will also work). Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds. Add 2-3 large ice cubes and the remaining ingredients and shake for an additional 10-15 seconds. Using the lid, strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with rose petals. Enjoy.
