'Tis the season for festive beverages. This year we're adding Leaves and Flowers tea concentrate to eggnog to spice up our favorite holiday treat. For this recipe we made tow versions, one with our Turmeric Wellness Infusion and the other with Assam Chai, but many of our teas could work. For a more floral, herbaceous version we suggest using our Ikebana or Pastoral Love Infusion. We hope you give this recipes a try and share with all your friends. Preparation for single serving:
In a saucepan, make a strong infusion of your tea of choice by infusing 1 rounded T of tea in 1.3 C boiling water. Set heat to low and let the tea simmer for 5 minutes. Add 2.3 C eggnog and warm slowly to infuse. Once you see small bubbles form, turn off the heat and strain. Serve warm with a dash of freshly grated nutmeg, or refrigerate and serve chilled with a splash of bourbon or rum. For a larger batch, simply scale the ratios of tea concentrate and eggnog proportionately.
