I love how different season call for different flavors and morning routines. Recently I started experimenting with our Assam Chai to make a blended drink fortified with some healthy fats (ghee and cashew butter) to enhance its nourishing creamy quality. I am hooked on this concoction and anted to share my recipe. Enjoy x

the recipe
1 T Ghee
1 T Cashew Butter (I use this brand from my local farmer's market)2 tsp Raw Honey (or other non-refined sweetener)
1 C Water
1 C Milk of Choice (I use this powdered oat milk, but raw cow's milk or homemade nut milk would also be delicious)
In a saucepan bring water to a boil. Add our Assam Chai and simmer 4-5 minutes. Add milk and bring back up to temperature, then strain into blender. Add all other ingredients. Blitz on high until well incorporated. Taste and adjust as needed until perfectly sweet and creamy.
